Standard Bottom Bracket (68mm to 73mm): The motor spindle fits standard BSA/JIS threaded bottom bracket shells with an inside diameter of approximately 33.5mm. This covers the vast majority of hardtail mountain bikes, hybrids, commuters, and road frames.

Aluminum or Steel Frames: Mid-drive motors apply significant clamping force to the bottom bracket shell. Sturdy aluminum and steel frames handle this torque beautifully. Carbon frames are generally not recommended.
